I commenced in the newly created role of Regional Manager for NEOS across WA, SA and NT in late December. With a background in both Advice and Licensing and firsthand experience of the challenges of delivering risk advice at scale and at margin I’m thrilled to have joined NEOS, one of the few platforms that genuinely delivers multiple product solutions within a single, functional system.
It was a pleasure meeting so many planners and principals at the WA and SA Back to Business events. Hearing about your priorities and opportunities has been invaluable, and it’s been encouraging to see how passionate many of you are about expanding risk conversations with clients.
A standout moment was hosting a fantastic group of planners for three days at LIV Golf – great company, meaningful discussions and a memorable event we’ll look to lock in again next year.
I also want to acknowledge the exceptional work of our state leads, Pia Holding in SA and Reon Both in WA, along with our underwriting and service teams on the ground. Their support for advisers locally is outstanding, and I’m excited to work closely with them to strengthen our presence across the region.
I’m looking forward to building on the momentum of the past two months and championing strong outcomes for your clients and your businesses across WA and SA.
A note from Pia, State Lead SA
After a very warm South Australian summer, I’m very happy to be heading into autumn. For those of us living in the Adelaide Hills, it’s a particularly enjoyable time of year — the cooler temperatures are a welcome change, and the colours that come with the season make for a wonderful backdrop.
It’s been an exciting start to the year for NEOS! We held our Back to Business event, which wouldn’t have been possible without the support of some of the fantastic NEOS team, continued our SA PY Next Wave program to great success, and I even squeezed in a fantastic 3 days at the LIV Golf with some of our valued advisers.
We have also been listening. Through feedback gathered at our Back to Business event and from our adviser surveys, you told us clearly that cost to serve pressures and streamlining the advice delivery process are top of mind. We heard you — and in response, we have developed some powerful new tools focused on cost to serve and benchmarking data to support your advice process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to discuss how these can work for your practice.
As always, we’ve also been busy behind the scenes delivering a raft of platform and product enhancements – be sure to check out the articles below for all the details.
